I used my vegetable glycerine mix (VG and water) and I loved it! I didn’t care for the light sticky feeling that I got on my neck from the residue, but its really great. My curls are hydrated and I can really see and feel a difference.
In my conquest for extra moisture, I looked at the Long Hair Care Forum. I found a great moisturizing recipe:
1/2 Glycerin
1/2 100% Aloe Vera
Mix well. Spray on. Seal with Castor Oil.
I got my Aloe Vera gel from The Vitamin Shoppe (I’m sure there’s one near you). Oh my goodness, my hair has never felt so fabulous!! I highly doubt that I will ever spend money on another moisturizer. I know that I have to train myself to be consistent and my hair to accept the moisture in its chronic state but I’ve never felt my hair so hydrated. It literally feels like I have new curls. Thank the Lord!
There’s not really a smell at all. This is all natural and all perfect for you hair. If you try it out, let me know how your hair feels. I may get rosemary this week just for preservation and scent reasons. I highly HIGHLY suggest any and everyone to try this recipe out.
